Recently, a photo of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh walking hand-in-hand on their secret vacation in Florida went viral. In the clip, recorded by a fan, Padukone and Singh can be seen happily enjoying their hush-hush getaway.
But the fan who captured the video, has claimed that she was “attacked” by the rumoured couple for recording them.
In the videos the female fan can be heard saying: “Do you think we can get a picture?” after which, Deepika can be seen approaching the camera.
She claimed that when the couple saw them making a video, they burst out in anger and misbehaved with her.
She said, “I was the one who was attacked I made this video! Such disrespectful actors! They lost a fan and their self-respect. They attacked me! Both of them. Disgusting ass people! Fame got to their head.” When a user asked her for the full video, she said, “Just look at their face! They harassed me, I didn’t have time to continue the video!”
The fan’s comments on Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have received mixed reactions.
While some agreed with her and extended support, many opined that it was the lady’s fault as she was filming them without their permission. Some others are of the view that the lady made up this story to seek attention.
To her explanation, Zainab said, “When she walked towards me smiling, I really thought she was coming to take a picture, but her and Ranveer actually came and yelled at me. The reason why I did not record them yelling at me is that they were right in my face and I was traumatised by their loud tone.”
Later, the lady made a long post on Instagram story, explaining what happened, and why she is hurt.
On a related note, Deepika and Ranveer were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The actor is currently occupied with the work of Rohit Shetty’s Simmba alongside Sara Ali Khan. He has also wrapped up the shooting of Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy.
