Karan Johar’s name has pretty much become synonymous with ‘nepotism’ in the film industry and its fans.
Days after announcing the cast of upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Takht’, Karan Johar was once again a subject for social media trolls who were accusing him of nepotism. Takht is reportedly based on the life of Aurangzeb and stars Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor as siblings and the magnum opus also stars Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. This mega budget film is expected to go on floors in the next year and is set to hit the screens in 2020.
While many lauded KJo for having such a huge star cast, certain section decided to troll him for promoting nepotism in the film industry and told him that he is the flagbearer of nepotism.
Karan Johar gave a fitting reply to the trolls and stood his ground defending his right to choose for the Takht star-cast. Check out the tweets below…
He wrote, “Ma’m…your clever coinage is original and has a dash of humour but nothing can match your beautiful DP image! Hand on chin and looking at an undisclosed location….”

You must stop immediately or the world will come to a drastic end!
Another sarcastic take on trolls
Johar’s flick ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, completed 12 years on August 11. However, a number of social media users blamed Karan for promoting extra-marital affairs through the film.
“Hello uninformed person! You cannot promote something that is already a big hit!” Karan responded

The Nepotism Issue
The nepotism controversy was first initiated by Kangana Ranaut, as she called Karan Johar “flag-bearer of nepotism” right to his face during Koffee With Karan, and everyone had an opinion of their own, which was against or for it.
