Recently, in a promo released by the Bigg Boss makers, Sreesanth opened up about his match-fixing days. He mentioned those days to the housemates and the promo was shared by the channel on social media as well.
The tainted cricketer has shockingly revealed that he had contemplated committing suicide after the infamous incident.
It was the sixth season of the IPL where the spot-fixing incident during a match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings caught the eyes of the anti-corruption team. Sreesanth, along with two other cricketers, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, was banned for life. In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Season 12, Sreesanth revealed that the fixing accusations were levied on him for a sum of Rs 10 lakh.
In the episode, the 35-year-old claimed that he was innocent and wasn’t involved in any sort of corruption. Having been acquitted in the case in 2015, Sreesanth said that he was depressed seeing his career fade away in front of his eyes and the whole subject even got the suicide thoughts run through his head.
Soon after making the big revelations, Sreesanth broke down while suggesting that he isn’t allowed to enter any cricket field ever in his life. In case where his son goes on to take up the sport, he wouldn’t be able to attend his matches too.

When Colors TV posted a sneak peek into Sreesanth’s conversation with the Bigg Boss contestants on Instagram, former Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra shrugged off the claims with a comment saying “epic” alongside a laughing emoji.
Raj Kundra also replied to the fans and asked them to update themselves with the facts before commenting on him. However, his fans have been supporting him completely.
