Sushant Singh Rajput has been accused of sexual misconduct by his “Kizie Aur Manny” co-star Sanjana Sanghi. Going with the #MeToo flow, Twitter users began to accuse Sushant of sexual harassment. An upset Sushant tweeted before going off Twitter. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Friday morning shared screenshots of conversations that took place between himself and his Kizie Aur Manny co-star Sanjana Sanghi, explaining his side of the story.
Sushant wrote, “I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well timed smear campaign. From the first till the last day of the shoot, this is what happened on the Set with Sanjana.”

The actor has been accused of behaving inappropriately with his female lead of the film Sanjana. Sanjana has accused the 32-year-old actor of behaving inappropriately on the sets of the movie, saying he made her feel “uncomfortable” with his “overly friendly behaviour” during the shoot in Jodhpur.
While Sanjana has not yet spoken on the subject, Sushant shared a screenshot of a conversation where he seems to be having a chat about set’s “non-conducive conditions.”
In one chat, Sushant wrote, “Hey just wanted to tell you that despite of everything that’s so not conducive for actors on set, what you’re doing is nothing short of f***ing epic. Good going girl.” Sanjana responded to the message with a text that read, “A whole lot of non conducive conditions, yes. Thank you so much Immanuel.”
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who was set to make his directorial debut with the film, supported Sushant saying “no such incident happened on the sets”.
“I totally stand by @itsSSR – no such incident happened on the sets and let’s not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else’s ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it,” he tweeted. Chhabra was Friday suspended from his directing duties on “Kizie Aur Manny” over sexual harassment allegations by multiple women. In a statement, the production house, Fox Star Studios, said till the time Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company concludes its inquiry into the allegations, the director remains suspended.
“As a responsible organisation, Star India takes any allegation of sexual harassment of women at workplace very seriously, hence, Fox Star Studios has suspended the services of Mukesh Chabbra, the director of our film, ‘Kizzie Aur Manny’, which is under production, till the internal complaints committee (ICC) of M-s Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company concludes its inquiry into the allegation,” the statement read.
The #MeToo movement in India started after actress and former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta in September recalled an unsavoury episode with veteran actor Nana Patekar from the sets of “Horn OK Pleassss” in 2008.
