This Cheesy Aloo Bread Pakoda Recipe are stuffed with boiled and mashed Potato mixture. You don’t need much time to prepare this yummy snack. You can prepare just in 15 minutes so enjoy this pakoda with a hot cup of tea or any chutney of your choice.

Ingredients

6 Bread slices , white bread

3 Cheese , slices (or 1 cup grated)

Ingredients for Aloo Masala
  • 1 cup Potatoes (Aloo) , boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 2 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup Onions , chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger , paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green Chilli , paste
  • Oregano Herbs-  A Pinch
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , finely chopped
  • Salt , to taste
Ingredients for Batter
  • 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt , to taste
  • Water , as required

Oil- For Frying Pakodas

To prepare Cheesy Aloo Pakoda recipe, heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds.and saute Onions until they turned pink.

Add the potatoes, turmeric powder, ginger-green chili paste, coriander and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for a minute. Also Read: Easy Quick Recipe of Crispy & Mouth-Drooling Corn Fritters/Bhutte Ke Pakode

Now take a Mixing bowl and add besan, turmeric powder, chili powder, hing and salt mix them all well, and add the water as required to make it thick pouring consistency batter.

Spread a portion of this aloo masala and oregano herbs evenly on slice of bread and put cheese slice on it then place another slice of bread over it, press lightly and cut it diagonally into 4 equal pieces. (You can use grated mozzarella cheese as well)

Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadai, dip one piece at a time in the Besan batter and deep-fry (mid-high hot oil) on a medium flame till it turns crisp and golden brown in color from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
