Coconut oil face wash

The natural strength of coconut oil can remove daily accumulated dust, pollution and oiliness (yes, oil to remove oil!) and restore the natural moisture of your skin.

Steps:

Apply a few drop of coconut oil to your face. Gently massage it in for about 30 seconds. Cover your face with a warm towel to open up your pores and expel all impurities. After 15-30 seconds, remove the cloth and dab the oil away with a fresh washcloth. Do not wash your face, and allow the coconut oil to keep your facial skin soft and supple.

Curd and Honey Cleanser:

In a bowl, take 2 teaspoons of curd and add 1 teaspoon of organic honey to it. Mix this pack well and apply it all over the face. Then keep for about 2-3 minutes and rinse it off with cold water. One can also add 1 teaspoon of olive oil, if you have very dry skin. You can follow up with your toning and moisturizing as usual. This cleanser can be used on a regular basis, as it is very mild on the skin.

Clay and Aspirin Cleanser:

Clay is one of the best cleansers for all skin types. It absorbs all the excess oil, dirt and sebum, refreshes and soothes any type of skin irritation. Aspirin is well known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Thus, this cleanser not only cleanses your face but also helps in fighting off the pimples.

Steps

In a bowl, mix two teaspoons of clay, add 2-3 crushed aspirin powder and form a smooth paste by adding little water. Keep for 10 minutes till it dries and rinse off with cold water.

The honey-lemon duo

It brings the goodness of an antiseptic and moisturiser to your skin. Bacteria are killed, dead skin is sloughed away, and ageing slows down. What else do you want, honey?

Steps:

Make your face wash by adding 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice to 2 teaspoons honey. Hold it in the palm of your hand to warm it up. Apply a thin layer to your face and neck. Let it dry and then rinse it off with warm water.
