Choose low-carb veggies
We all know that vegetables are low in calories but high in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. What is more surprising is many vegetables areare low in carbs and high in fiber. Start including these 15 veggies in your diet-
- Bell peppers
- Brussels sprouts
- Green beans
Green tea: This tea has high polyphenol content that helps in controlled release of blood sugars. Try avoiding sweeteners.
Green tea has a positive effect on your general health as it can reduce your blood pressure and lower your LDL cholesterol levels.
Tomato Juice: It reduces Clotting in Diabetics. For diabetic people tomato juice may help stave off the heart troubles that often complicate the disease.
Drinking 2 cups of tomato juice a day for a month cut down on some measures of inflammation in obese women.
Cinnamon Water: Researchers have found that cinnamon cut cholesterol by about 18% and blood sugar levels by 24%. By this effective way, You can treat your diabetes at home.
You can add cinnamon powder in what you eat or drink, like green or herbal tea, juices etc. You can also try Green/herbal tea with lemon or a cinnamon stick. Plus Drinking Cinnamon warm water on an empty stomach or in morning helps increase metabolism. Source- Times Of India
