Making love to your partner is not just the physical act, but it includes the build up, the act, and the intimacy post-sex. Many of us don’t give it any thought, but there are plenty of things that women unintentionally do right after having sex that ruin their health and partners’ mood.
Though these are absolutely unintentional acts that partners get caught up in, these are often the terrible goof-ups that kill the sexual mood and also ruin our health.
We’ve rounded up those things that you should avoid doing post-sex, in order to keep your partner’s mood high and lady parts healthy and happy.
Falling asleep at once:
Most couples come across this problem where either one of the partners or both would fall asleep soon after having sex. It certainly is a big goof-up that can kill the charm of sex. Sleeping at once would not allow you to cherish your performance and neither let you enjoy the mood with which you enjoyed that night of passion.
Calling a friend:
When it’s time to enjoy sex, it’s indeed a gaffe to keep your eyes and ears stuck onto your mobile phone waiting for a message or keeping an eye on your missed calls. It makes the other partner feel as if you’re just not interested and thus ruins all the fun.
Turning on the TV:
Turning on the TV or picking up your phone will leave him feeling abandoned and make him feel unimportant to you..
If you disconnect, you’ll leave him feeling insecure. Staying connected is very important to a man. Also Read: 11 Naughty And Sexy Things All Guys Want to Hear in Bed!
Eating another meal:
Moving to the kitchen right after having sex looking for something to eat is equally disgusting. It ruins the entire passion and would make your partner feel that you didn’t enjoy sex just because you were hungry and had food on your mind.

Using soap to clean the vagina
This is another cleaning technique you need to avoid. The vagina is lubricated with natural moisture and washing it with soap will rob it of that moisture. So avoid that.
Some women think they need to clean inside their vagina after sex with water or prepackaged fluids. But douching can lead to more infections. That’s because it upsets the natural balance of bacteria that protect your vagina. The best way to take care of your vagina after sex is to leave it alone — it cleans itself naturally. Use a wet wipe down there
Never use wet wipes on your lady parts, especially if your skin is sensitive to chemicals, oils, scents or glycerine. Using a wet wipe after sex can cause irritation, causing your skin to swell, itch, and become tender.
Getting in a hot tub
When your vulva swells in response to sexual stimulation, it reveals the opening of the vagina, which means you have a greater chance of infection.
If you’re in a hot tub with your partner, that means you’re exposed to the bacteria on his skin and anus.
Pregnant? Take Extra Care
Sex is usually safe during pregnancy, but you are more likely to get infections like UTIs during this time. So it’s even more important to take care of the basics after sex — pee afterward, wash around your vagina, and drink water.
