Katasraj is a temple located in the Chakwal district of Punjab in Pakistan. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the most important sites for Pakistan’s Hindu community. According to popular belief the temple has existed since the days of Mahabharata and the Pandava brothers spent important part of their exile here.
Another belief is that when Lord Shiva lost Sati, he cried so much that an entire pond was formed. Devotees believe that bathing in the pond washes away all the sins of a person.
Hinglaj Mata Temple
The temple is located in the town Hinglaj in the district of Lasbela, Balochistan. It is considered as one of the 52 Shakti Peethas of the goddess Sati.
As per popular belief,Lord Rama spent some time here seeking atonement of his sin of killing Ravana. According to a popular legend, Mata Sati’s head fell here where Lord Vishnu cut her body in to 52 pieces to calm down Lord Shiva and stop his Tandav.
Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir
This is a 1500-year-old temple of lord Hanuman and holds a great significance for the worshipers.
This Temple is different from majority of temples because it is the only Hanuman temple in the world where his idol is not man-made. Yes, it has formed naturally.
Jagannath Mandir, Sialkot, Pakistan
This temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Jagannath and was built in the city’s Paris Road area in early 2007. Lord Jagannath is one of the forms of Lord Vishnu.
Sadhu Bela Temple
It is situated in the middle of the River Indus which is situated near Sukkur in Sindh region of Pakistan. Thousands of the Hindus from and Pakistan and outside come to Sadhu Belo or Sadhu Bela for their prayers.
Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Karachi
The temple was constructed around 200 years ago and is a significant worshiping site for the Hindus. Though the temple is dedicated to Goddess Laxmi/Lakshmi, you can still find statues of Lord Hanuman and Shirdi Sai Baba in it.
