A Bangaluru traffic police officer, M.L. Nijalingappa deployed at Trinity Circle did something winning the hearts of netizens. He made way for an ambulace, which was trying to find a way to reach hospital.
The incident took place on 17 June, when the President’s convoy was heading towards Raj Bhawan, as the President Pranab Mukherjee was in city for the inauguration of Metro’s new line. He was placed to handle the busy junction to handle traffic for the convoy when he noticed that an ambulace was stuck in the traffic jam. So, he cleared the route for which he was appraised. The Bangaluru police later announced a reward for sub-inspector M.L. Nijalingappa for his action.
