Big Embarrassment To Congress: These Leaders Join BJP, Here's Why
And you will be shocked to see what the leaders said after they were asked about congress and BJP.

The Lok Sabha elections 2019 have been announced and a fierce battle is set out to play out in the next two months as political parties have already begun their strict planning and campaigning for the seven phase polls. But it seems  like time is tough for Congress party. One after another, it is receiving shocking news.

The BJP welcomed Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s aunt and her husband into the party fold at a function here on 15 March 2019 but faced little embarrassment as they said they were already supporters of the BJP party.

Tharoors aunt Sobhana Sasikumar and her husband Sasikumar said they had been long time supporters of the BJP and wondered why such a function was organised to welcome them into the party.

Welcoming 14 new members from diverse backgrounds into the party, BJP’s Kerala president P S Sreedharan Pillai called them the cream of Kochi and honoured them with a party shawl in the media’s presence.

Addressing the function, Pillai hailed the historic background of Tharoor’s family in Palakkad district and said people from such backgrounds becoming part of the BJP have to be welcomed.

BJP Ernakulam district general secretary K S Shaiju said the function was organised to give membership to new people.

Tharoors relatives might have attended various party functions as its supporters but Friday’s function was organised to give them party membership, he said. According to Congress sources, Tharoor is likely to be the party candidate from the Thiruvanathapuram constituency which he currently represents.

Responding to the fresh controversy, Tharoor said his family members included supporters of different parties and some of them have been casting their votes for the BJP for years.

Recently, Tom Vadakkan, once seen as a key aide of Sonia Gandhi, joined the BJP on Thursday.

Speaking at a press conference, he had said, “I left Congress party because when Pakistani terrorists attacked our land, my party’s reaction to it was sad, it hurt me deeply. If a political party takes such a position that is against the country then I’m left with no option but to leave the party.”

Vadakkan also attacked Congress over “dynasty politics” and said that the Rahul Gandhi-led party had a “culture of use and throw.”

He also heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his development work and said that latter’s quest to bring change in the country was commendable. Also Read: Biggest Insult To Rahul Gandhi: BJP Leader Asks Questions About DNA
