As the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 date nears, the political parties have started to show their will to woo voters. After Congress promised to implement Nyay Scheme, party president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday made another big promise to the youth of India. Rahul said there are 22 lakh government job vacancies which will be filled up by March 31 next year if his party is voted to power.
The Congress has been criticising the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre over alleged jobs losses and lack of jobs creation in the country.
“Today, there are 22 Lakh job vacancies in Government. We will have these vacancies filled by 31st March, 2020,” Mr Gandhi tweeted.

The new government will assume office in May after Lok Sabha polls. Gandhi has been making a series of poll promises ahead of release of party’s poll manifesto. He had said on Saturday that India needs restoration of its water bodies and afforestation, and his party will employ lakhs of rural youth for the purpose, if voted to power.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been on a roll since his announced the Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY) scheme for 5 crore poor families in India.
Rahul Gandhi said the NYAY scheme will “remonetise” what the Narendra Modi government demonetised in the year 2016.
“What the PM has done over the past five years is to remove all money from the economy with failed policies like demonetisation and a poorly executed Gabbar Singh Tax [GST]. Informal sectors have been badly hit,” Gandhi said few days back.
“The aim of the ‘Nyay’ scheme is two-fold. First is to guarantee a minimum income to the bottom 20% families. The second is to remonetise the economy that has been demonetised by Modiji,” he added.
New Plan For Young Entrepreneurs
Gandhi on Thursday declared another plan for young entrepreneurs in India on Twitter. Unveiling his economic agenda, Congress President Rahul Gandhi Thursday said if voted to power his party will cut red tape for businesses, exempt new enterprises from seeking any permission in first three years, make it easier to get bank loans.
Rahul Gandhi also suggested that his party would take care of Angel tax as well. Angel tax, introduced in 2012 to curb money laundering through unregistered companies, has been eased but certain conditions still apply. Also Read: Rahul Gandhi Promises These Things For Entrepreneurs
