A flight 6E-508 of Indigo was evacuated in just 60 seconds after smoke was seen in the cabin. the captain took the call to evacuate the plane after the smoke due to precautionary measures.
“There were 174 passangers in the flight and all are safe. All SOP’s are carried out efficiently,” said in a statement.
There were no fire in engine or tyre burst, confirmed by the authorities. There were no technical snags reported when arrived at Patna airport.
The incident has been reported to DGCA and internal enquiry is initiated by airlines.
Due to the incident, four flights were delayed.
