Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of Medical College in Sayli in Silvassa. On the occasion, he said Dadra and Nagar Haveli today got its first medical college since independence.
He added the Medical College in Sayli will help boost healthcare facilities in the region. The Prime Minister said that in the last three years, investment worth around 9000 crore rupees has been done in Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

He said his government is following the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and is dedicated to the progress of the nation and not to the advancement of a particular family. He said the previous government was only able to build 25 lakh houses in five years.
However, in the last 5 years, around 1.25 crore houses have been built under Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana. Talking about Ayushman Bharat, PM Modi said that every day around 10,000 poor is being treated under the scheme.
Mr Modi said his actions against corruption have infuriated some people. He said, since he prevented them from looting public money, they have now formed an alliance called Mahagathbandhan.

He said this alliance is not against his government but against the people of India. He added the opposition parties currently are not even properly together and already that have started bargaining for their share.
Mr Modi also unveiled the plaque to inaugurate various development projects in Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Prime Minister also launched them-Arogya app and door to door waste collection, segregation and processing of Solid Waste in Dadra and Nagar Haveli digitally.
