Uttar Pradesh government has denied permission of animal slaughter in open in the state. The Yogi Adityanath-government has also prohibited selfies during animal sacrifice.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed police and administration to ensure sacrifice of animals on Bakr-Eid was not done in the open and that blood and offal is not dumped in open drains, so that religious sentiments of other communities are not hurt.
Action will be taken against those found flouting the rules.
The CM has also asked officials to maintain law and order and ensure electricity and water supply isn’t disrupted in the state.
Here is the reason!
A strange trend has emerged in the last few years where on Eid al-Adha / Bakrid social media gets flooded with selfies featuring animals before and after the sacrifice.
His orders have got mixed reactions! Here are both positive and negative reactions!

#YogiBakrIdGuidelines a perfect move….. a step towards Uniform Civil Code,..,
If Crackers can be banned on Diwali, colors can be banned on Holi…
We are not banning the slaughter, but it should be within Laws… No open Slaughtering
No more Vote Bank Politics..

I wholeheartedly support @myogiadityanath ji for banning slaughter of animals in the open.I would also call for a ban on Namaaz in the open and loudspeakers that call to prayers (Azaan) as they are public nuisance.#YogiBakrIdGuidelines
