Yesterday, renowned journalist Barkha Dutt shared the screenshot of an unsolicited dick pic she received on Whatsapp. She is receiving these pictures after she openly shared her views on Pulwama Attack.

The move of sharing the nude picture(dick) did not go down well with Twitter. The problem that a lot of people are having with her tweet is that she seems to have politicised the rather sensitive subject of sexual harassment. Also, everyone’s asking the same question right now- how do you tell someone’s a nationalist by just looking at their dick?

Soon after sharing the details and the dick picture which she received on her mobile, she trolled by netizens.

In her tweet, Dutt not only shared the number of the person and the dick picture, but also claimed that the accused belonged to right wing ideology. The senior journalist tweeted. “I am sorry to have to share this on twitter. But this number is sending me nude pictures of his genitals in the name of Nationalism @IPSMadhurVerma”

On February 19, journalist Barkha Dutt tweeted that the micro-blogging site, Twitter, had locked her account after she outed details of abusers and trolls. In an email complaint to Twitter, Dutt wrote: “I would like to place on record my absolute horror and disgust at Twitter’s encouragement of sexual abuse and gender inequality. I have been locked out of Twitter because I outed the names and numbers, along with evidence, of men who stalked me, threatened me with rape and sent me pictures of their genitals.”

Dutt also wrote: “Twitter was one of the platforms used to circulate my phone number to enable this. Over the years, Twitter has routinely been used to harass, abuse and smear women in India, including me. None of my complaints have ever been acted upon…Instead, today Twitter chooses to stand with perpetrators of sexual abuse and violence.”

The February 14 attack on the CRPF convoy has changed the dynamics of militancy in the Kashmir Valley.

At least 44 CRPF jawans were killed and dozens injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on the 14th of February.

A 22-year-old Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar was identified as the suicide bomber who carried out the attack. Accused of one of the deadliest terrorist attacks the state has ever witnessed, Dar lived just 10 kilometres away from the attack spot in Gundibagh.
