Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has made a most shocking allegations against the Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath government and the Centre’s Narendra Modi government, accusing them to plan his murder.
Addressing an election in Rampur only days ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Azam Khan claimed that he is ‘defenceless’ and the Modi-Yogi government is conspiring to ‘kill’ him, adding that they will use all tactics to win the polls.
“Rampur’s candidates have come here to kill me. All my licences have been cancelled. I am defenseless. All the licences of my family have been cancelled. The Modi government and Yogi government are planning a conspiracy to get me killed. You can decide. They will try every wrong tactic. They will play with the machines (EVMs). They will try all crooked ways,” said the Samajwadi Party leader.

Earlier on Saturday, Azam Khan made a personal and abusive statement against Yogi Adityanath, calling the UP CM a “neech”.
Azam Khan has been fielded as the joint candidate of the Grand Alliance comprising the SP, the BSP and the RLD from Rampur, his home town. “Is it a sin to give water to Muslims in your religion? Then why did Yogiji cut of water connection of my children. You will stoop this low? Arre neech! Against how many officers will you file cases?…”, said Khan while addressing a public rally.
Khan attacked Jaya Prada for quitting SP & joining BJP
Speaking at a public meeting in Shahbad, Khan said soon after she was named the BJP candidate from Rampur, Jaya Prada had said she was going to Rampur to “kill a demon”.
“I, who begged for your children, one who got a grand university constructed so that your children could study, one who got roads laid and water tanks constructed is being referred to as a ‘demon’. She is calling me a demon who needs to be beheaded and that’s why the BJP has sent her here,” Khan said.
When Khan’s former colleague Jaya Prada accused him of harassing her
The BJP has fielded actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada against him. Prada, Khan’s former SP colleague, had recently joined the BJP. Prada had recently alleged how Khan harassed her when she was in the SP.
She had said, “Even as a sitting MP (Member of Parliament) from a party, I wasn’t spared. Azam Khan harassed me. He attempted an acid attack on me. I had no certainty if I would be alive the next day. I would tell mother while leaving the house that I wasn’t sure if I would ever return home. I emerged out of it.”
The nation is all set to go to polls from April 11 to May 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
