The biggest festival of cricket in India is starting from Saturday 7 April. The stage has been decorated and the Millions of fans are waiting to see their favorite players on the ground. In the 11th season of the world’s most popular cricket league IPL 8 teams will play 60 matches in 51 days. The first match will be in Mumbai between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Before the match, an inauguration ceremony will also be held.

4. The Decision Review System (DRS) will be used for the first time
The Decision Review System (DRS), used in T20 Internationals, will be introduced at this 11th season’s IPL.
3. Mid Season Transfer
Under this new rule, uncapped players will come. According to this new rule, after the 25th match, uncapped and foreign players can be transferred to other teams. It will happen with the mutual consent of both teams. Under this rule, only those foreign players can be transferred, who have played only 2 or fewer matches. Indian player will not be applicable for Mid season Transfer.
2. Teams will have their own two Jerseys
There is an introduction of Home and Away jerseys. This time IPL teams will have two jerseys, one for Home and one for away.
