President Pranab Mukherjee will be stepping down from the post on monday after completing his 5-years term, has his farewells lined up for him. Modi hosted a farewell dinner for the President on saturday. It will be followed by MPs of both the house gather to bid him an farewell on Sunday evening in Parliament’s central hall.

Narendra Modi wished the President farewell in the traditional way presenting Pranab Mukherjee momento during his ending term as President of India. The dinner was attended by President- elect Ram Nath Kovind and his wife, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, some senior ministers and various Opposition leaders.
Mukherjee signed visitor’s book at Hydrabad House last time as president. Later he greeted Kovind for his new begining as president and thanked PM for his cooperation and relations with Rashtrapati Bhawan.
After the farewell ceremony on Sunday evening, Pranab Mukherjee will step-down as President on moday, followed by oath ceremony of new President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday.
